Ever since MK 2011 came out, the idea of this pairing began to grow on me. Even my own boyfriend, a Jade fan, said he would support this pairing if it became canon. I'm surprised I haven't made a piece like this sooner.

You know what's funny? If you had asked me two years ago if I wanted to see human Smoke make a return, I would've been like, 'HELL NO!' At that time, I prefered him as a cyborg and was enjoying his tragic story. When MK 2011 was announced and we found out it was a 'reboot,' I figured they would bring human Smoke back.

After completing both story mode and Smoke's ladder, he pretty much shot up somewhere into my MK top 15 list, possibly even top 10 if I actually worked on a list. NRS added so much to his story that it was enough to intrigue me, especially when it came to his past.

However, I would chose Smoke to be a cyborg again if it means we get human Sub-Zero back.
